NFL is back! Well, preseason but we got football!!!
Finally, a couple games tonight and NFL has a new kickoff format and I hate it. They couldn't even test it out in the preseason for at least one season before diving head first w/ this corny format for the regular season. Scoring will increase and it will simply help out teams that have great offense. If your offense sucks, then it won't help you much with better field position.

Anyway, the new Frankenstien kickoff will begin tonight. If the Hall of Fame game, which didn't even have a 4th quarter, is any indication... you better take the damn OVER!!!

Detroit Lions @ New York Giants o35.5 (ev)

Sharp NFL preseason bettors could be eyeing the Over in tonight’s game between the Detroit Lions and N.Y. Giants.

Since Brian Daboll became head coach of the Giants, all 6 of their preseason games have soared Over the Total. The Over hit when Detroit and N.Y. met in Week 1 of the NFL preseason last year.

Meanwhile, the Over has hit in 6 of 9 Lions preseason games since Dan Campbell took over as head coach. The oddsmakers have set the Total for tonight’s 7:00 pm ET kickoff at 34.5 points.

Will the Lions and Giants combine for 35 or more points? Hit the link below to get the best lines on tonight’s NFL action.

Oh yeah, the other meaningless game...

Carolina Panthers @ New England Patriots o35 (-110)

    NFL Action Alert

There is one-sided action on the New England Patriots in their preseason game against the Detroit Lions tonight.

So far 70% of the tickets have been written for the Patriots as 6.5-point home favorites. Bettors love them to outright win even more, with 84% of the bets backing New England as -300 favorites on the Money Line.

Meanwhile, there is a slight lean on the Under with 53% of the wagers predicting the score will fall Under the 33.5 Total. Kickoff for the preseason Week 1 game is at 7:00 pm ET on NFL Network.

              "Giants, three and out"

              I'm used to hearing that.

                  And especially New England.

Giants will at least put some points up this year.

Geez, there goes my theory on the over as the first (5) games went under. We got (9) games slated for today, will any go over?

                    Bets On Bills

In one of this week’s most heavily bet preseason games, the bigger bettors are siding with the Buffalo Bills in their game against the Chicago Bears.

So far, 67% of the cash is backing the Bills as 1.5-point home favorites versus the Bears. Bills starters, including Josh Allen, are expected to play “roughly a quarter” according to head coach Sean McDermott.

The Bills have been a hot bet in the preseason under McDermott having outright won 11 of their last 13 preseason games. Kickoff is at 1:00 pm ET today on NFL Network.

                      Preseason Action Alert

In another preseason game getting big action, there is a decent lean on the Cleveland Browns in their game versus the Green Bay Packers.

Currently, 63% of the cash is on the Browns as 3.5-point home favorites for today’s 4:25 pm ET kickoff. Jameis Winston will get the start for the Browns and some starters will play according to Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski.

Under Stefanski, the Browns have covered 3 straight preseason Week 1 games.

Can't bet pre-season or even watch. Don't have clue who's playing and what scrubs are good or not. Pass..

Am looking forward to regular season play though.. I did well last year betting the fooz ball. Hope I can repeat this year again and win a few bucks.
