Thank you for the contest! It's great to see them here on the forum, it brings back a sense of nostalgia and allows for more interaction.

I think Mexico group stage pick, Brazil in the quarterfinals, and especially Canada in the semis were the ones that worked in my favor.

In the end, the Colombia backers could have pushed me down to fifth place. It was still exciting though.
