#2Chuck, you have great reads into Rythm, reasoning on your analyzations. (in depth you could say) Viewing from an unbiased point of view, one game at time would be the way to go. My personal view is post season mostly becomes void of opportunity, maybe the occasional total if it has value. I think previous 5 finals could be looked at to find some similarity's worth looking at. Good luckComment -

#3Thanks, Veri!
I'll offer up one vantage point. Listen to Sports-Talk Radio for 10 minutes of NBA discussion. Who are they talking about?
A: Doncic/Irving on DALL, Tatum/Brown on BOST.
OK, tune those talking-heads out. They can talk about the key players as many times as they want.
The key to winning these series = lesser names. Example: Indiana played PRETTY WELL after Haliburton went out. As if the Pacers were a one-man team.
My Dall/Bost writeup will focus on the big-man matchup. Porzingis status is key. If Porzingis can't come back healthy, then I think DALL is live (or Lively).Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#7See my play thread. Posted an opinion in there.
A few subtle Dallas notes:
*Lively returned after missing one game. Looks to have no lingering effects. He was 16/16 on FG in the MIN series.
*Kleber is back but I really expect him to get just a few minutes. Center rotation is solidified with Gafford/Lively.
*Hardaway did not score a point in the MIN series. I think Kidd has lost faith in Hardaway, who can be trigger-happy. Kidd seems to prefer Hardy, who may be viewed as a more team-oriented player.
If I had to nitpick on Dallas team weaknesses:
1) Doncic/Irving turn the ball over a little more than I'd like.
2) I'd like the roster more if SF Washington was a little better shooter. He's had his moments and seems to be hitting opens shots.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#8BOSTON
Some would believe that they're the Champion in-waiting. Their 12-2 playoff run is impressive at face-value. Count how many games they played against injury-depleted rosters:
*MIA w/o Butler
*CLE w/o Mitchell and Allen
*IND w/o Haliburton
I've been thoroughly impressed by Boston's bench. Horford/Pritchard/Hauser/Kornet/Tillman could be a Playoff team on their own. Porzingis injury forced Horford into the starting lineup. And Kornet has missed recent games with injury as well.
Horford is an interesting case study. He used to be an interior player with strong Rebound numbers. As he aged, he took his game outside. He is now an accurate 3-point shooter and a matchup problem against opposing Big Men. At age 37, I'd argue that he is not a great defensive matchup against athletic big men.
This ties to my key theme of the series. Will Porzingis play? And will he be effective? Gafford and Lively rotate and are rarely on the court at the same time. Each makes more than 70% of their Field Goal Attempts.
Who is going to guard Dallas' young centers? Without Porzingis, Boston amazingly tried to matchup White and Holiday against big man Turner. Turner sometimes drifts to the 3-point line, so Boston got away with it. Luka has developed a timing with Gafford and Lively. The Alley-Oop lobs are like a Cheat Code.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment
