I don't even have a problem with the non-PI call there, didn't affect the play. Refs in college and pro seem to be letting that go all the time now.

Stafford is one tough player. He could easily have been knocked out of that game. I think he might be done, or maybe one more year.

For the record I did post Cowboys/Packers O50.5 and Dak Prescott +300 to have the most passing yards in the WC round before the games kicked off.

Hit the total, and am looking good on the Dak prop (I also had Love +1000 for the same risk so I'll net +200).

Rams didn't execute in the RZ and despite the calls not going their way, that was the difference between a W and an L. They didn't get enough pressure on Goff in the first half and he torched them.

The Rams have a solid core, a ton of draft capital, and cap space next year. I'll be hammering futures as soon as they come out.

I usually, but not always will grab the points in football, or wager the + money dog in MLB betting in games I consider tossups.

I briefly considered Rams on the money line as well but felt much more comfortable with the three-point handicap in my pocket.

If I had to lay -115 juice instead of reduced juice -105, I may have bet the money line.

Everything worked out nevertheless, I got the insta-classic game I expected, and even though I wanted LA to advance I have no problem with the Lions as Dan Campbell is very easy to root for.

Closes out a very profitable week for me.

I'll go out on a limb and say you've never played football before, and tossing a Nerf in the driveway with your uncle Rico doesn't count.

The only reason the hit looked dirty is because it occurred at the same split second Higbee's leg planted. The defender couldn't have foreseen that. If that same contact occurs a fraction of a second sooner or later, Higbee's leg doesn't buckle, he cartwheels in the air and everybody is applauding the hit.

Again, the rules have forced defenders to error on the side of aiming low, and even aiming middle comes with inherent risk because the receiver is often leaning forward, which means incidental head/neck contact could occur and the defense is always liable in those situations.

It didn't draw a flag, and the Lions won, so you can't really argue it... he did what he had to do. A "clean" hit by your definition may have resulted in a Rams win.
