College Football Total for 11/11/2023... Shocking, Appalling, Hammers Are Falling!
Well it happened. I said a few weeks ago that the books couldn't set the Iowa totals low enough and we'd eventually get a sub-30 line.
This week's Over/Under for Rutgers @ Iowa is 29

I'm seeing 28.5 now at books.
Unreal total... anyone doing anything with this?
I mean, hell, you could play Over 16 in a 13 point teaser at this point, which means 10-7 cashes the leg.

This closed at 27.5 and still went Under, although it would've cleared any Over in teasers.
We may never see a total this low again unless it's in another Iowa game this year. They play Illinois, but I wouldn't expect that game to be lower, however, the day after Thanksgiving the Hawkeyes play @ Nebraska and I would not be shocked to see that O/U set at 27 or less.

Only 6 points going into the 4th quarter.
That Nebraska game on Black Friday is going to set the game back 80 years.

Iowa once won a game 7-3 without scoring a touchdown

2 safeties and a FG or two FG's and an extra point?

2 safeties (against South Dakota State). The real shame is that they didn't win 4-3

As predicted, the Iowa/Nebraska game set the bar even lower.
Currently 26.5
They should just play a soccer match at this point.

Ops, somehow I’ve never seen this thread. So with the total just keeps going down, then we should consider the under?

Hell, three field goals in the 2H and you're cashing the ticket.
That's the thing about such a low total, you can suffer a scoreless first quarter and just like that you're back on pace to go over. It's almost like like a teaser with one leg.
