Why Can't the Heat Beat the Nuggets and Win the NBA Championship? What's the Deal?

Technically true but their opponent (Dallas) were also first time finalists. That team was anyway, I don't know if they made a finals 50 years ago or something or even how that would be relevant

A better example from around that time is probably Larry Brown's Detroit Pistons against LA. Mac4Lyfe might say though that Detroit made and won finals back in the 80's so it doesn't count

If Denver doesn't blow them out in both home games it means the Heat can hang.

Anything under 10 point win in both games would signal a chance for Miami.

2-2 going back to Denver is not really that far fetched. Denver wins game 5 and 6.

that's what i thought about the lakers after they lost by 6 and 5 respectively in game one and game two at denver, covering both games by half a point (thankfully).

they they promptly lost to denver in a sweep. ouch!

i used denver 1st q spread, 1half spread and full game spread

they purposely didn't cover the spread vs lakers both games by .5 so knew they would be allowed to rough up the heat and hold for the cover in this one
