Wow. Didn't believe it when I saw it at first because "RIP Doyle" has been a made up thing people have been saying for years. But it's actually true this time

I'm really sad about this. Read his super system book as one of my first introductions to poker, and it took me pretty far. Doyle always held himself with class and was a great presence to watch at any poker table. RIP to an absolute legend!

      RIP

I wish I still had my copy of Super System. He looked at poker through a different lens and taught the world how to play.

Exactly. I swear I read this headline at least 10x.

If he's really gone now, RIP. He had a better life than most. Have to imagine he enjoyed his life.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

10-2 for the WSOP bracelet win not just once but twice.

              Incredible.

One of the few poker legends I wish I could have met.

The hand he most hated to get dealt with was AQ offsuit.

                                      he's dead now.

once espn reports it, it is official.

don't fall for what strangers or bots say in online poker.

                                                          Good on you.

I gave up drinking stone cold four years ago, best life decision I ever made.

I'm still smoking, I'm down to ten cigarettes a day, I can't shake those last ten butts though, it's a bitch.
Kuodo for quitting, I know first hand how hard that is.
