Not the greatest defense either. I can't fault taking Johnston because Allen is getting older, but to win NOW they needed defense right there. And there were still good players available after the Leo's (Lions) decided to jump up a player from round 3 to round 1.

I don't like the pick. I'm right on most of these. I have been wrong on Hurts (PHIL) so far, but I still don't think he is that good of a passer. It will be interesting to see if the NFL figures out how to stop that offense. But then, Philly loaded up on 2 more good D players in the draft already. I think Stroud might be the best of them all in the end, but I even think there could be a Tom-Brady type without the SB's that comes out of this draft really late. Sorry TopMoron....Richardson doesn't pass the eye test at all. Will he get far better with more work? I don't know. Colts should've traded down and got Levis later. Whatever. No, all serious here. The Lions did alright as they did get the second best ranked player at each position of who they drafted. I have no idea where Campbell ends up going or where Gibbs goes. I think Gibbs could really be a game-changer and Swift is hurt half the year every single year anyway. Iowa's defense was amazing last year. Imagine how good they would be of a team if Iowa had any sort of an offense outside the good TE they had? I think Campbell is a really good player so we shall see.
