Anybody Get Screwed On Ohio St.-Michigan Under?
144 points were scored. Wolverines dribbling the clock out. Player with the ball starts dancing with 10 seconds left and travels. Buckeyes get the ball and score a layup. Sickening!

Never decide the line is sharp based on the game result.

That is the wrong way to approach the market.

While one may reasonably argue the eventually the line is massaged down to a higher probability score prediction, that's not the purpose of the line and it doesn't happen as often as one might think.

Nor does it determine the "sharpness" of the line, as the line is, again, not meant to be a score prediction. The line is meant to encourage action on one side, the other side, or both. Remember, despite popular myth, the line is not always meant to create equal action on both sides and rarely does that occur.

I didn't see this one but this same thing happened to me a week or so ago. I believe it was a Big 10 game as well. End of the game the team is just running the time out but there was still going to be 3 seconds left. The guy gets run to the sideline, falls down which leads to him losing the ball. The other guy picks it up and the defender that was already at half court just stopped and let the guy go down and lay it in as time expired for the game to go over by a point. This looks like the exact same shit and I can almost recall it being an OSU or Michigan game.

So true, and one of the biggest misconceptions. Even if a 144.5 lined total lands 155, that does not mean the 144.5 was wrong. or off. 144.5 could be a 50/50 line and 155 is still a result on the distribution chart that can happen.

When betting 'unders' these two words apply.

                              Caveat emptor.

Kid must be watching too much NBA. Even after that, Mich had a chance to rebound it, ugh. I think I've had more bad beats on Sat morning NCABB than all other sports combined
