When I was younger, in my teens and 20's Philly was actually a fun city to party in, even as recent as 25 years ago, when I was still in college we used to go to the old Vet catch a Phillies game, then drink some on South Street with all the mixed crowds, no worries, no fear, (as long as you kept everything respectful).

Now, Philly and NYC are two two towns I will not step foot in unless it was business related, and then it would only be in and out, no lingering, TCB, and out.

Boston now is the only city I feel safe in in the Northeast, and even still...
