University of Virginia shooting kills 3, injures 2; former football player named as suspect



An active manhunt is unfolding on and around the University of Virginia grounds Monday morning for Christopher Darnell Jones, Jr., a UVA student and former college football player named as the suspect in the shooting on the Charlottesville campus Sunday night that left three people dead and another two injured.

Jones, now considered armed and dangerous, was a former UVA football player. According to the school’s athletic department website, he was on the football team in 2018 but never played a game.

Police describe Jones as a Black male last seen wearing a burgundy jacket or hoodie, blue jeans and red shoes. He might be driving a black SUV with the Virginia tag TWX3580.

Police are investigating the deaths of four University of Idaho students found Sunday in a home near the campus. Officers with the Moscow Police Department discovered the deaths when they responded to a report of an unconscious person just before noon, according to a press release from the city.

Police have called the deaths suspected homicides, which generally means the killing of one person by another, though the term doesn't necessarily suggest death was intended or committed in a criminal manner.

The Idaho one seems absurd, authorities acting like they don’t know who did it.
It took me two seconds to realize the extra 2 roommates probably murdered the 4 people. You’re in the same house, no break in and you don’t call the authorities till noon the next day. I think Idaho might need to get some new detectives, this couldn’t be more obvious

the idaho house was known as a party house lots of people coming and going, pretty sure i saw a pic of the door and it had one of those handles u enter numbers in to open, the two room mates were both females not likely they did this crime, also happened at 4am if the kids were sound asleep or very drunk not hard for someone to sneak in and stab them in the neck kill them quietly

maybe a jealous ex of one of the females or maybe this guy

A lot of the people go up there to live off the grid, fly under the radar so to speak.
