Definitely rigged. Everyone says "the likelihood" of winning is a LONG SHOT. True. But the likelihood of 1 person winning out of ALL TICKETS PURCHASED... is HIGH. I believe they intentionally make these jackpots HIGHER for more publicity... and also more revenue. States have to be making more money on bigger jackpots.

You're much more enticed to purchase a ticket when the jackpot is 600+ million.

No, only $2 here in CA, There is no mulitplier option because in CA the prizes are pari-mutuel (based on ticket sales rather than standard payout of other states) Which means prizes are uncapped.
