A dejected Christian McCaffrey said "All I want to do is win'' following Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams that dropped the Carolina Panthers to 1-5.

He'll have that chance now, as the Panthers on Thursday night traded their star running back to the San Francisco 49ers for undisclosed draft picks, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 49ers are sending the Rams second-, third- and fourth-round picks in 2023 and a fifth-round pick in 2024 in exchange for McCaffrey, sources said.

CMC is one hit away from aa career ending injury, I love to watch him play, by no means I am wishing this on him, but just one hit, one awkward landing, the SF program will be set back a decade, they'll have wasted all those draft picks and nothing to show for it.

Like every year, it comes down to health at the end of the year.

If 49ers are healthy on defense, and have deebo ayiuk cmac and kittle all ready to roll, no one will want to face this team. Easily the best offensive in the nfl. They can run. They can play action. They can run with wrs. They can throw short, they can throw deep. No other team can do that. Chiefs? Their run game is laughable, and no one respects their play action, and they have no superstar talent except kelce. Bills only have Diggs on offense.

Both those teams have far superior qbs obviously, and that's what makes them great. But they can be beat. Philly looks like the most balanced team right now, not cause of record, cause of roster. Stud D line, stud corners, great qb, great wr duo, and a rock solid rb who can run 15 times a game.

49ers are missing a cornerback or two. Offensively tho, best roster by far.
