#649ers have a stable of solid RBs now with Wilson and Mitchell as well....and Deebo of course.
I would not be surprised if Shanahan uses McCaffrey as a chess piece that he can move all over the field with his receiving skills, versatility and high football IQ.
He has all kinds of options now with 2 of the more versatile offensive weapons in the NFl in Deebo and McCaffrey.Comment -

#16We were just talking about this as a serious topic.
Often, being in this industry, many may not know, the first place we point to in cases like niners, and even packers, are the agents. Unless it's obvious, like a field issue.
A good agent will have a good program and education in place to better avoid injury but the team and coaching also play a role, especially early in the season and even preseason. It's so much about preparation. The coaches role is often negative.
But in the case of the Niners, we may have a combination of things. This includes the agents but a negative effect from coaching. But this time, instead of being about preparation, I now have someone working the problem to see if there is evidence, and I think there is, that a big issue for the Niners is play calling.
On both sides of the ball.
They're gonna get "Deebo" killed and fold Mcaffrey right into it.
But they could go far if healthy.Comment -

#18The last few years it didn't matter who they put in as the running back, they always did a good job. So I'm surprised they traded for one of the best running backs in the NFL. With that said, I think he will fit in nicely with the offense; basically with him and Deebo, their offense should be brought to another level with the ability to pull off in play. The only thing they are lacking is a fast WR; Aiyuk isn't fast, but at least Kittle is for a TE.
Bottom line, can the 49ers be healthy this year?
doubt it; all their top players are injury prone. Shitty astroturf?Comment -
