browns rb did everything he could to continue to stop the clock by running out of bounds
so they score... they missed the PAT so jets could score a TD and lose by 6... browns let a guy "run past them by accident" and the Jets scored in 2 plays and were down 6 no timeouts
they get the onside... which turned into a classic NFL teams don't remember how to just play defense late in games
prob rigged bomb TD so jets would cover -6.5 and the onside kick turned it into a browns loss... thanks legal gamblingComment -

Interesting, Brock. You do SOMETIMES see the ol' "RB lay down to kill the clock off" play:
1) PHI Westbrook did it at Dallas. The play where Andy Reid's eyes almost popped out.
2) NYG Bradshaw actually TRIED to go down at the 1 in Super Bowl. He wound up rolling in for score that made it a 4-pt margin instead. 15-17 became 21-17, when he was trying to set up game-ending FG.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Chubb laid down a couple years ago in the exact situation. I have no idea why he ran that in. As soon as York missed the XP, I knew my Browns -6.5 was fukkked. The Browns have players but the coaching staff is poor. Especially the defensive coordinator, Joe Woods. This is 2 weeks in a row where they had a 2 TD lead and his defense leaves guys wide open for TD bombs. How does someone suck so much at their job and still have it?Comment -
