Why are the Giants favored over the Padres today????
Padres in San Francisco.
Clevinger vs Rondon
Padres still with best winning record
Both offense suck...what am I missing here JJ?

You're asking JJ?
That's like asking Ray Charles if he likes the color of your shirt.
(I'm just joking JJ)

Rodon likely will be favored most games he pitches. He's been outstanding and the one bright spot the Giants have. That's probably your answer nothing more to it than the fact the Giants best pitcher is on the mound.

I dunno.........public perception maybe.
SF (even though they've fallen and they can't get up) still must get a little respect at home with, I'd say, a pretty good pitcher.
I'm not good at predicting line moves, but, (IMHO) think SD money might knock the line down.................

JJ knows the industry inside out and knows who are all the sharps in Vegas. But even with all this knowledge he still loses most of his bets and goes bankrupt every week.

The site I look at uses a "consensus #" for showing opening lines.
For what that's worth, SD opened at +125 and is currently (at this site) +115.........

You haven't seen the Marlins play. They have 4 relievers with an above 4+ERA.

Play was initially halted when plate umpire Marvin Hudson got hurt in the bottom of the first, then again for 40 minutes in the top of the third when some of the ballpark light banks went out.
