The bet: $20 Exacta Box ($40 total) with #5 Marinara Sauced & #8 Dakota Gold

I don’t know anything about horse racing but I would think I would of won more. Seems to me only won 100. This seems way to little.

I just got off the phone with the site and get this I hit the $40 exacta and I won $38. This doesn’t seem right to hit the first 2 horses to cross the line and I LOSE MONEY

So I hit a $40 exacta on Race 9 at Saratoga and I LOST $2

u lost $20.... and won $38.50 including the $20 back u should be down $1.50 dont bet on horses.

I thought when they are Boxed it doesn’t matter what order they come in. So I thought I won both. I just don’t know the BOXED results

A quinella is a single bet that has the same effect of boxing the two horses and is a different pool and not offered on all tracks/races. A boxed bet just means that you are placing separate wagers on all outcomes with those horses.

Went back to check the will pays. If the race would have come in 5-8 your $20 exacta would have paid $300+ which would result in a $260 profit. I would feel fortunate to have even hit the race and made a small profit given a tip from an anonymous email.

They were just promoting a Stakes race and trying to drum up business.
It’s great you cashed but I would not recommend doing that again.
They don’t actually have any idea at all about the race.
