Oh, I feel bad for her and anyone that is doing time for petty shit but I agree, you have to be smarter. First off, I wouldn't bring anything in and out of that country. Too easy for someone to plant shit on you and much easier to buy whatever you need once you're inside of the country. Like you said, you're entering a country that the US is at war with. Not good news for Griner.
She left her detention center outside Moscow on November 4 and is now in the process of heading to a likely remote penal colony. Nobody knows where Griner is or where Griner will end up, the whole “transfer” process can take days to weeks where not even lawyers are in touch.
