Comical soccer bet. What’s your biggest comeback time wise to hit ab unlikely bet?

after a long day of boozing on the golf course/ watching the open, I got the bright idea to bet the last live event available risking everything I made this week. Mexico Under 20 soccer was playing Suriname and was up 5-0 at half. The second half was a few minutes in and the live line was -7.5 so I rolled the dice thinking Mexico would continue to throttle them. The score is still 5-0 in the 87th minute lol. I had been checking the live score every other minute amazed that no goals had been scored. 2nd half 0-0 was like +3500. Finally a goal came in the 87th minute. It gave me a little bit of satisfaction after I had considered the 5-0 final score at big odds, Then they scored again in the 93rd minute to make it 7!!!! I figured just another rooster tease. There’s no way they score 3 goals after the 86th minute.

Injury time just kept ticking to the point I thought mb someone had a heart attack mid match causing it to stop for a while? 99% of the time they blow the whistle on these blowout games in less than 2 minutes. After 12 minutes of injury time FlashScore showed me that Suriname received a red card. I was praying that somehow meant a penalty kick up 7-0 in the 112th minute, Then the score changed to 8-0 and the patty began lol, it didn’t say penalty goal either. Very weird win. The only two other crazy late game big bet comebacks I can think of were both champions league ones, Barcelona shocking PSG and Dortmund scoring 2 to advance in injury time. Almost forgot…had a big man city live bet the year aguero won city the title late. I’ve never ever seen or heard of 3 goals that late to win a bet though. Wild stuff. Booking myself a day of shark fishing in key west and cashing this lucky charm.

Late Friday I had a +520-ish bet in Brazil Serie B and they scored in the 91st minute to make it 1-0 and I thought I had won it. The goddamn clock kept running until the other team got a penalty kick to tie it in the 12th minute and it was over right after that. Kinda the reverse of what you are talking about.

With every minute that passed I was like “you gotta be fukking kidding me END!!! BE OVER!!!” and I knew, I just knew, that whistle wasn’t blowing until this was a draw for the home team.

This isn’t anywhere near 3 goals after the 86th minute by one team up 5-0 but it really pissed me off and I wanted to talk about it

Brazil serie A or B totals should be avoided at all costs as a general gambling rule. South American road teams always suck it up also . Avoid those like the plague lol

A lot of Brazil serial b games are unreal at times it can be 0 0 around the 80th minute mark then they manage to score 2 goals in the last 10 minutes to screw the under 1.5 goals bet.

Seattle in the MLS playoffs a few years ago. Had them to win in regulation, down 2-0 and scored three goals in about 20 minutes to win it, the last one being with one or two minutes left in injury time.

I had Liverpool when their goalie scored in the final seconds last year, but the best one was Arsenal 1h -1.5 against Dundalk in Europa League. Both teams were literally just passing it backwards the entire half, I finally gave up on it at 0-0 at the 40:00 mark. I check my account a few hours later and it marked it as a win, I thought it was an error. Check Flashscore, they somehow scored in the 42nd and 44th minute.

Brazil b totals are a crapshoot for sure this year.

Brazil A games are profitable as is the copa de brasil other than that this year the other leagues in there pyramid super tough to cap.

Not nearly as good as yours Mets, but I had a pretty good one this past Saturday night. I took the draw in the MLS between Houston and Dallas at +265. I wasn't watching on TV but was following it online. It was 1-1 at 90 minutes and I figured all was good, then Dallas scored at 90+3 and I figuratively threw away the ticket. Then they kept playing... and playing... and playing--a total of 13 extra minutes and Houston was able to put in the equalizer at the 90+11 mark. Cha-ching.

I had a very stressful one last night. I saw USA women were playing Mexico tied 35 min in and went all in on them to get the win laying a ton of juice. Thank the gods they scored a goal in the 90th minute. I would’ve never forgiven myself for blowing my account on Megan Rabinoe
