The beach is highly overrated. Fat women eating ice cream with 10 kids in tow. Leader of the pack chugging cans of shit beer with huge waist line thinks it makes him a tough guy. Very highly overrated.

That's true.
I remember the parking at the beaches in LA, stupid prices.
Was nice to live a few blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. We used to go down there and rent bikes then ride the trail all the way to Marina Del Rey.
The ole 3's company trail.
