WHO have they played?

TB has beaten Tor who was the 2nd best team in the East. They beat the Panthers who won the presidents trophy. Rangers had the best goalie.

Colorado beat Nashville who were useless and st Louis was decent. Edmonton had no goalie.

Bolts have a huge goalie advantage in this series. Plus they defend better than Colorado. Its hard to win 3 straight Cups but betting against this team is hard to do.

No I meant the whole season, playoffs and regular season. I mean when has Colorado showed any weakness?
Plus the opening line sucks completely for Tampa. It’s set to draw a bunch of Tampa money. Everyone is going to use the three peat angle to bet. Even if you like Colorado most people aren’t taking -200.
Plus watch JJ he’s going to be pumping up Tampa over the next few days.

Colorado can't show weakness until they face a team that will do that. That's now. I also think the long layover is a huge factor.

The opening line is fair. Florida was chalk as well vs TB. I can see the AVS winning. TB really needs point in this series and he won't be there. Colorado is missing some guys as well. I don't like the AVS goalies. They will let in goals at the wrong time or should I say goals they should not let in. Watch how the lightning slow the AVS down in the middle of the rink.

I'm not concerned about JJ. He will say what he wants.

It's the first time in 3 seasons they will be the dogs going into the finals..

The Leafs and Isles were their toughest matches. If the Laughs actually had Vasilevski the result may have been very different ..

Point is 50/50 to return. It would be huge if he plays. The 9 days rest hurt the Bolts after sweeping NY. They got a slow start coming back from it. If Colorado stumbles out of the gate, it will be all the Lightning need to capitalize on their quest for the Cup. Ending the Rangers 1 game early will give them a bit of a breathier. This team is as experienced as it gets. Vaz is back to HOF form. Couldn't find a status report on Hedman. Goalie play goes in favor of the Lightning. Crunch Time favors Bolts! They have felt the pressure enough to know how to channel it. Tampa in 6. GL

Tampa looked like crap, after a 9 day layoff. Every aspect of their game was a touch off. It is NOT always good, unless you have injuries.

Rangers were tired and dull their last 2 games, so tonight will be an adjustment I doubt the Lightning can handle it. Even if the Avalanche are a notch slower from layoff, Tampa doesn't have the speed to exploit it. Avs could win by 2+

Still, I will take Series at -190 instead of solo. It's only 18.7% higher and if something goes wrong tonight,
the bet stands. Series line will only elevate if they win tonight.

What’s the record? And what’s the qualifier of days? I doubt this stat will be much of an advantage but I’m open to hearing it

Would like to side with the goalie edge. Tampa is solid, well coached. But two years ago were the beneficiaries of a long in season covid break and that allowed them to heal and get by Boston. Last season was a truncated Cup win, albeit a win. I'll be impressed if they can do the full 82 games without a break and beat the more talented team. Think Vegas has the right series line. Makar leads a better defensive group. I just worry about the goaltending. Vasilevski .928 SV% vs Kuemper .897 SV%.

This is going to be an incredible series! I am an Avs fan but I cannot bet a side tonight. I am worried about the long layoff. Although, I remember last year Avs swept first round and played Vegas who came off a 7 game series. They had 8 days of rest. Avs won 7-1 then proceeded to choke away the series. I actually called that score line. I said it was either going to be 7-1 or 2-1 in OT. I wish I would have bet on that score. Anyways, I am going to keep riding Palat o0.5 points -120. We will see how the teams matchup. But I did say from the beginning of the year the Avs don't have the netminder to lift the cup. I am going to stick with that and quietly hope they walk all over the bolts. Can't wait!
