    -65 Run Differential

The 16-19 Marlins have a +16 Run Diff for reference

Wager accordingly on the Pirates moving forward, boys.

Yep, so obvious they are playing way over their heads. Their catchers are Michael perez and torontos former 4th stringer. Going to get ugly at any time.

Some good prospects though but won’t help in the short term

Yet they won 2 of 3 from the "paper champs", the LA Dodgers.

They were due, it was like 4 years since they beat them before that

That game they lost 21-0 to the Cubs earlier this year skewers the stat a bit.

But this really doesn’t have much to do with my post though, right?

                  Same as Reds

                  -65 diff

And Reds have a worse record

They aren’t as bad as they usually are. Run diff means little other than how much you lose by when you lose or how much you win by when you win. As mentioned above losing by 20+ in one game early in the season certainly skews that number a bit. Adding Vogelbach has given them some power they usually don’t have. Reynolds and Hayes not bad pieces either. Pitching still abysmal though.

                      I couldn’t disagree more.
