assuming Celtics win, like their chances against Heat.
turned down +350 for Championship. Odds not high enough to ignore tomorrow's game.
    Let's Go Celtics.

I don't like the Horford and Smart news, nor the fact they were sprung on us so late.
The Smart injury is not gone, and may resurface. Rumor is Horford was never vaccinated,
              and could show Covid symptoms.

I am fully hedging out of this series now, for reasonable profit.
Doing so with the individual props,
4-0,4-1,4-2, and 4-3 yields more profit than the blanket Miami series.

Well, I said in another thread that Boston would probably lose Game 1 then run away with it...
however, due to the nature of the Game 1 loss but mostly the Smart questions and the Horford question, there was plenty of reason to hedge out. It has since been revealed that Horford felt off so got tested of his own accord, even though more positives are in the Celtics traveling party, so there is a high likelihood other Celtics have Covid but there won't be any more testing unless players voluntarily do so. I'm surprised Horford did it, with so much at stake.

I did the hedge out before the Warriors won Game 1 also, and they are a much larger bet for me. If the Warriors win again tonight, I will consider taking the Celtics in another game but at that moment I wanted to protect the bankroll. It's a grind, staying profitable but the reward is worth it and discipline keeps me in the green. I bet around 20-40 times a week...it's a risky time with tennis on clay and my other two besties (NCAAB, NFL) off-season.

Ball, Gm2 was a statement game. BOST looked so strong and well-balanced.

You have any personnel update for me?

                            1) You expect White back from the child-birth for Gm3? Congrats on the baby, White.
                            2) You think Horford is 100%? Almost looked he skipped game 1 just to rest the old bones?
                            3) Pritchard best game of the yr in Gm2. Didn't see that coming.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Tatum has the perfect running mate in Brown.
                              Who's Butler's running mate?

Miami doesn't match up well, I may be late to this thread but not late to the party.

I said before the series started that Miami has match up problems, If Brown is off, Tatum can carry them, and vice versa.
If Butler's off, he's doesn't have a running mate, if Butler goes 7 for 19 for instance, they're done.

Now that Smart and Horford are back, Miami's done.
Robert Williams is in a perfect role, so is Grant Williams off the bench, the whole bench is complete.
Theis is perfect off the bench C/PF to spell Horford, Pritchard is the perfect off the bench guy to spell Smart now that White is hurt.
Pritchard is a dagger sharp shooter too.

I thought Bam was going to be a force, man, he's turning into a fraud just like Embid.

I don't think Miami takes two out of three in Boston.
I'd bet it hard they don't if I didn't have to lay like -250.

Boston has too much depth bench wise, they have home court now in what's a five game series.
For Miami to win this series, both Tatum and Brown have to go on a cooler, and Butler has to score 30 +.

I bought that ticket at +400 before the final four started.
                                  4:1 was the right price.

Same with Dallas, they don't match up well with GSW.
Green, Klay, and Curry have been together for a long time, I wasn't buying into that long layoff theory.
All three know what they are doing when together.
And that Looney, he's even better than Robert Williams in Boston, and Williams is a quality big man.

Dallas does have a nice supporting cast with Luka, but Powell ain't Looney, an Finney-Smith, Bullock, and whatever else sure ain't GSW's front three, and throw in Wiggy, it's not a contest.

Never was going to be a contest.
Both series end in six games.

                                            Update

All the injuries and, until last night, inconsistent play left me unable to get a feel on this series.
It was a mistake to flip to Miami as I did (link, Heat -105 series)
So what I just did was move unlikely Miami returns over to Boston -450 in Gm 6 and Boston series -1400 to scrape some back, along with this series bet @ +150 which I still have waiting to return cash. The series will be a small loss for me but it's less than 10% of what I hope to win if the Warriors don't collapse and finish off Dallas to win the West.

I do intend to back the Warriors over the Celtics in the Finals. I already have some but will wait until Gm 1 is over before committing the bulk of it. Why? Because the Warriors will be on the road. If they win, they are more likely to take the Finals and I don't mind paying extra. If they lose, their odds will pay more, and they can still steal Gm 2.
