Ja Morant is currently undergoing further evaluation on an apparent right knee injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Warriors.


It was hard to see in real time, but you can check out a slowed-down version of the play hereto get a much better view. Ja stayed in the game momentarily after the injury but clearly wasn’t right, and then limped straight to the locker room to get checked out. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN also reported that the league office is going to do some more film work and make a decision regarding Jordan Poole reaching for Ja’s knee, and when you watch it closely, Poole does clearly grab at it. However, Poole did speak after the game and said he was going for the ball, further saying that he’s not that kind of player and that he hopes Ja gets better. Stay close by in case we get any more updates on the injury before the end of the evening.
