Having to deal with a nagging bit## of a wife or gf. Kryptonite to any gambler.

Don't know of anyone who can get on a hot streak when that sh## is going on.

Greed. Plain and simple addicted to action more then actually making money. Could make money easily but keep wanting more money GREED.

I think my biggest one is not recognizing the age factor in players. I'm at a point where I've been watching pro sports for decades. So as these athletes age, I still remember the way they played the game at 25 and think it's still the same at 35. Obviously, I know they depreciate with age, but subconsciously I see big names as dogs and I think "free money!" Low and behold, I get burned.

Yes I should add to mine staying the course during a hot streak as well

Basically what we’re doing is trying to have success at something that totally fukks with your brain chemistry almost at all times. Success makes you want to press, failure makes you want to chase, and even treading water for awhile can get aggravating and cause you to do ill advised shit. I guess I would phrase it, approaching the play on the play’s terms and not on your current situation’s terms is most of our weakness

Yeah you can feel like you’re not taking advantage of your opportunities just letting your money sit there (how dare you let it just sit there for 15 minutes when there’s ping pong edges to be exploited!), but you probably just need to hang back and chill for a bit.

Yeah case in point there’s not a human being on a gambling forum that hasn’t bet on the lakers multiple times this season and lost every single goddamn one of those bets but they’re gonna turn it on right…

Betting 10X more on a chalk ML trying to recoup the 1 unit you lost earlier on a bad loss and losing again.

yeah chasing losses is about every gamblers weakness

being old like me you learn from mistakes and never repeat them

this 1 is 100% say your gambling in a casino or anywhere else you started with $1000 your down $800 and with last $200 win most or all of $1000 back GO THE AFAAAWKKKKKKKK home you just washed like $1800 in action earned major rewards if you used your card and got free food and other stuff

YOU dint lose any thing had fun for however long you were gambling 6-8 hours and

just be smart as we used to say years ago playing poker in taj mahal casino he who takes the money and walks away lives to play another day
