I'm saying that -910/+670 is one hell of a straddle for the House.

-110/-100 is a tighter straddle. I'm saying that the House juices the Hell out of the Big Dogs.

Do the math on this problem. +670 implies that the Dog has to win > 13.0% of time to generate a +EV return.

The -910 says that the Fav would have to win > 90% of time to generate a +EV return. So, a True Dog win % of 10 to 13% means the House wins.

That's one hell of a straddle. Hard to imagine the House is dealing a fair game there.

Painter needs to answer on at least two fronts:

1) Center play. Williams looked very shaky, should have played less. Edey should have played more. St Peter's is a small team. Edey is a walking mismatch, he should have had a bigger game.

2) The fouls. St Peter's DOES have some good FT-shooters. Don't give them the cheap points on the Foul shots. Edert, in particular, is money on the Free Throws.

Center should have been a more decided edge. And too many easy pts on Free Throws. Purdue lost to a team they should have beaten by 10+.
