They didn't have a problem scoring from what I remember.

I like it. Should see better pitchers to hit in this lineup.

This comes from the Seager-to-Turner LA-playbook. Bogaerts is expected to exercise the opt out so it’s a protection move by the Sox.

Overpriced and mediocre pickup. Story is on the downside of his career. Last year's numbers .251 batting average, 24hr, 75 RBIs are mediocre numbers you can get from pretty much any shortstop in the league batting at Coors Field also. Any schmuck can hit 24 home runs there.

Sawx needed to replace 31 HR’s and 96 RBI that was lost from their everyday lineup
And now they get that in Story, who is also a good “clubhouse player”, will fit in very well. Also, Cora will get max production from big Trev
when you got to repeatedly face the Blue Jays, Bombers and Rays? You simply do not subtract 31 Bombs/96 RBI’s and say: we are good to compete with the big boys

Great move, Story isn’t declining. He didn’t see anything to hit with the Rockies lineup, only guy you don’t let beat you. Huge drop off in talent and protection in Colorado. I’m stoked for him.

19-21 shows steady decline in avg, slug, obp, xbh.
And that's hitting at Coors
Seems a pretty mediocre move, especially when they could have had Correa probably.
Sox were fluke team last couole years....this doesn't improve them.

Why in the hell did Bryant sign with Rox? Guy is an idiot. No chance of winning next 5 seasons due to 3 much better teams in the nl west. Didn't he see how hap

Rockies needed a face of the team type player since Arenado and now Story gone. but totally agree, the bryant/rockies deal is one of the dumbest deals in a long time
hell they let their staff ace: jon gray walk. Colorado refused to even make the $18 mill qualifying offer. Nl West is a beast of a division, Rockies and Bryant will enjoy last place for many years

Dumbest signing I've seen in many years, from both sides
