I think games go over 3 hours because of all the commercials between innings, not batters stepping out of the box or changing pitchers etc. Before you used to sing during the 7th inning stretch and that was it. Now there's mascot races, distracting nonsense on the video boards at obnoxious volume, craft beers costing a fortune, God forbid you took the family. You'd spend half your paycheck in one crappy night.

Season is too damn long. Guys are mailing it in half the time, nobody gives a crap.

Yes, there will be a season. what that looks like? anyone's guess. the longer this goes on, and depending on how they handle a "spring/summer" training will decide the season. because you are going to see plenty of injuries to all players if they do it wrong

Personally I like the old days before they had giant video screens blaring commercials at you from the moment you enter the stadium. Just the sound of the crowd, guys selling beers or dogs, some guy on an old organ playing over the loudspeaker, it was a fun experience. Nowadays they it's an assault on your senses. Aside from finding a good dog to bet on daily, there's nothing I like about the game anymore. Even watching on TV is painfully boring.

The whole damn league can tank in my opinion.

You can say that about the NFL and the NBA.

Hell no; the game has turned ointo a bunch of monkeys homering or striking out. I remember a guy from the 80's named Steve Balboni who was a HR or K guy, there's about 100 of him now.

Of course I care besides having something to bet in the summer months baseball is something that I could never give up because it has always been my favorite sport. That said I hope they resolve this quickly because it is getting awfully close to Opening Day and very little progress has been made.

You realize that the ball is 'in play' almost the exact same amount of time in football as it is in baseball?

Yes i completely agree except for the beginning 2 weeks it seems like chalk wins to get the bettors thinking they know what they are doing. MLB is my favorite and i love DOGS! Bow wow to the bank via the bookies cash . Puffpuffpass nash even though i think you said you don't . LFG Mlb
