This is why I hate rain delays. Kenin had the momentum but you never know what could happen after an unexpected break.

P.S.
A comeback from 6-2 5-1 down is a rarity but there are select WTA players that can find themselves on the wrong side of it. One of the notorious ones is Mladenovic. Let's hope Stephens joins the company.

Oh and Sammy the rain delay is another counter argument. It gave Stephens more time to mentally deal with how the 2nd set went. Yeah I know rooting for Kenin too. Like I said she's scoring the points for both players from rallies but Stephens got a decent serve going still.
