Sounds like something a D- Book would tell me. Either the bet points are redeemable are they aren't. SBR can pay contest winners via BTC but no one else that has bet points can collect. And yet they include betpoints in their contest offerings, something of no value currently.

your opinion either you play or you do not? your call. I had my doubts as well, but after reading mods and SBR forum handle info I will stay the course and hope for the best. Worse comes to worse the Pro program is disabled, and points are worthless. Life goes on.

No Shiit. My point is that a good part of this contest (4th thru 9th) involves betpoint winnings that can't be redeemed currently. If SBR can payout via BTC for top 3 contests winners via cash, then why can't they redeem current posters with point balances? SBR obviously has the ability to pay via BTC, but chooses to do it sparingly. Does that not bother anyone else?

Obviously, they have a lot to figure out. They are not willing to pay out yet. But are expressing an intention to do so at some undetermined time. You cannot lose at this point.

Points will have value when store re-opens, which should be some time in January although I am not sure anyone has a firm date yet. And I have stressed many times the importance of having BTC in the store.

If points were not going to be honored, it would be very unlikely that they would come out and tell you that would not honor points. However, it would be highly unlikely that they would give you a $10,000 contest that gave your points significant value. They are making a good faith effort here. Your chances of losing your points are definitely less than they were before.
