You know you are in trouble when that happens in the NBA .. Faderator was the call in that game.
Cavs need to get back to full strength and we all will resume betting on them again. This gravy train ain't over!!

Cavs -9 vs Toronto and half the team still out. WTH? Is Toronto fielding a team? I can’t play the Cavs and that line.

OMG, who the hell is playing for Toronto? I don’t know one player on that team? They just called up some Washington Generals squad. This is ridiculous. Who the hell is this Toronto team? I just hammered the Cavs. Wow.

The Washington Generals are getting their asses kicked. My god, what a beatdown. I hope folks piled on this one. The Cavs are playing a college team tonight.

This Toronto lineup may be the worst NBA lineup you will ever see. The NBA should be ashamed of themselves playing these games. Cancel for a few weeks. I hammered the hell out of this game when I saw that lineup. They literally got these players from the local YMCA.

^ Yup Cavs up to their old tricks again tonight. The gravy train appears to be back on track and continuing.
I was a bit nervous when I first saw the -9 line. Then I saw the Raptors starting lineup and I was like, you got to be Fn kidding me. I made a killing tonight. This felt like stealing.

45 point beatdown. Man, I hope for Toronto's sake, they get some players back because they play 76ers on Tuesday and that will not be pretty.

I read players were still out with Covid so I passed. I considered it though, Cavs are especially tough at home.
I'll play em next time.

I've been meaning to post in this thread for a couple of weeks.
I'm in a Best Ball league, so I follow what's going on.
Since week one I said to myself "I like what Cleveland is trying to do"
Their roster is what I call the sum is greater than the pieces, by that I mean each player fills a specific role close to perfection.
Garland and Rubio are a very nice guard tandem.
Love in a 20 minute per game role is perfect, scooping up Markkanen from the Bulls who I always liked was genius.
Wade is legit....
I would love to see the Cavs to succeed.
My concern is, is the bench deep enough?
Good luck with this thread, I've been watching all along.
Good job.

Nasher - Love has been incredible in his role. Really should be the 6th man of the year. The guy is putting up 20 points a night in less than 20 minutes. He has been incredible from 3 of late.
The Cavs are really deep. Most nights they have 7,8 even 9 guys in double figures. The 2 biggest issues I have are;
1. Turnovers - They are so careless with the ball, especially Garland, sometimes Rubio. I know they are trying to distribute the ball and they have one of the best assists stats in the league but damn, the turnovers are concerning.
2. Who is their go to in crunch time? - come playoffs, are they going to shrink the bench? Who do you go to when you need a bucket? Sexton was that guy but now who? I actually think it's Rubio but that's a scary thought.

You don’t hunk they are making the playoffs? Huh? If they stay healthy, this team will be the top 4 teams in the East. I’m thinking they might be 2nd or 3rd actually.
Wow, I can’t believe there’s still doubters but I guess that’s why their lines are still flat.

May be close to the end but I think at least 2. Chicago will fade shortly then it’s all about walking the Bucks down.
I still think they will be 1st in the Central by Jan 9th.

Not seeing any reason why Chicago fades. If anything they're likely to make a trade to improve. Lavine/Derozan is as good a duo as there is.

What's the Cavs players status looking like tomorrow? Cavs -3 at Pelicans looks pretty tempting on the surface. Pels suck.

^^Cavs look like the call again today but yes I am waiting for player availability status info to come out also. I'll probably ride the Cavs regardless. Cavs bench and scrubs can ball. I'm more interested if some of the Covid Pelicans players are coming back? I believe Ingram is ruled out so that's good.
The New Orleans Pelicans play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Smoothie King Center on Tuesday evening. The Pelicans (12-22) will look to bounce back from a road loss in their last game and add to their, 6-9, home record. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (COVID-19) will be sidelined, while Brandon Ingram (achilles), Josh Hart (ankle) and Jonas Valanciunas (illness) are listed as questionable for action. Devonte' Graham has been playing well lately and is averaging 17.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals, over the last five games. Herbert Jones is averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 blocks, over the last 10 games. The Pelicans are averaging 105.0 points per game, while shooting an average of 43.6 percent from the field. On the other end, they are giving up an average of 109.6 points per game, and they are allowing opponents to shoot an average of 46.8 percent from the field. Meanwhile, this marks the first game of a two-game road trip for the Cavs (20-13), as they will look to build off a home win in their most recent contest and add to their, 10-6, road record. They will be shorthanded, as Cedi Osman (COVID-19), Evan Mobley (COVID-19) and Jarrett Allen (COVID-19) are sidelined. Darius Garland is averaging 19.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Ricky Rubio is averaging 12.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.4 steals, while, Lauri Markkanen is averaging 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Kevin Love is expected to pick up the start in place of Allen and will be up for big minutes. The Cavs are averaging 107.9 points, and they are holding opponents to an average of 101.4 points per game, which is second fewest in the league.Posted on: 12/27/2021 4:10 PM
