If it’s a USA book I’m sure somewhere in the fine print when you signed up you agreed not to do that under the punishment of legal action

Cops? Maybe if the book goes to small court and file a claim you may be summoned to the court but there is no cop police knocking on people's doors to collect gambling debts.

I think most of them say you can be pursued in civil court or criminal case

aren't they much more likely to pursue the civil case? even if it's a huge amount?
