You deposit 5k, lose the first bet, lose the free bet and you're out 5k. It's entirely possible to lose two bets in a row.

+ev does not mean its a guaranteed profit, you still have to risk and can lose
taking both sides cuts into ev as well as you are paying more juice
not worth thousands by my calculations

If u can’t make money on the 5k promo something is wrong
Also Caesars is offering FREEBeT on Tb
                They score 1 pt tonite
                Free $50
And if anyone says that promo is risking their own money should quit gambling

                !! Don’t use the free $50 if u haven’t done the $5k bet

are u fukking brain dead? u risk 5k imo to win a lot more than 5k. worst case you get your 5k back with a loss and have funds to play with.

                      You deposit 5k
There is 5k in cash in your account
                      You win 2.5 k
                      U have 7.5 k in cash
Don’t know where you are getting your info
You didn't read closely enough, I said if you deposit 5k and you make a $5k bet and it LOSES. So now Caesars gives you a $5k free bet token to bet on whatever. If you bet that $5k token on a -200 fav which would be dumb you'd be left with $2.5k. So you would want to bet the $5k token on close to even money as possible to make as much of your original $5k stake back.

We're on a gambling forum and there are so many people in this thread confused on this promo, Caesars might have a nightmare with the general public not understanding this promo. Wonder how many people will take this promo just thinking they get their $5k back in cash when their bet loses only to find out that's not the case lol

How is this promo 100% free money? Are you able to post an example of what your thought process is better yet an example on how you could be guaranteed a profit from this?

It's free money in terms of it being +EV and therefore would win you "free money" if it was played over and again.

Obviously you can't play it more than once, but grinding out profits is about making more +EV bets than not. And for that sort of math minded bettor it is so good it's a bit like free money.

There may be some way to partly bet both sides and realize a small profit, if you can get one side at a low juice book and if you can predict line moves, but that's not really how anyone is going to play it IMHO.
                                    .

Secondly, you no longer can just wager on team "A" and then go across the street and wager on team "B". They have computers that serve all the sports books just like the super slots that pay off millions are hooked up on to a main site that controls all of them in every hotel. you are correct, the promo is +ev and can be +EV over $2000 if you bet a big enough underdog and want increase your risk of losing. you are awarded the free bet only if your first bet loses, so by betting a bigger underdog you are increasing your probability of being awarded the free bet thereby increasing the value of the promo. the higher your probability of losing, the bigger your expectation from long odds. if you found some no-cost arb opportunities and had tens of grand to put up, you can find a +EV 0 risk scenario that would be worth over $2000 where you take both sides. there's no guarantee of profit and you could walk away winning $0 with a no cost arb scenario. most people don't have the capital and there might be risks around the logistics of quickly getting down all the bets. you can still walk away a loser with a different betting strategy, especially if you wanted to maximize the value of the promo. a risk free bet is not free money like a free bet would be.

Can you use this promo in multiple states? The WH rep on the phone was very adamant that you could (cocky about it) She said different states, completely different rules, regulations and accounts. I’m looking at the fine print and see a problem with her confidence...
