        There are three types of car salesmen.

        1) Steady Eddie. This guy is always on-time. Always clean. Always dressed. Always dependable. A team player. Steady Eddie will sell 15 cars a month.

        2) Star. This guy will sell 20 cars a month. Don't trust him. He's always looking for a better angle. A better opportunity. A better job.

        3) Super-Star. This is Sammy. He'll sell 30 cars a month. He'll make an appointment at 9pm if it means getting the job done. The Super-Star knows that anybody who walks in is going to buy a car. It's simply a matter of which car. The fish cannot spit the hook. The owner loves the Super-Star. Yes, he's a bit of a sukk-up. But he's the straw that stirs the drink!

                    In my 2 years as a car salesman the owner sprang for lunch delivery from an Italian place. It was a Saturday set-up buffet and the salesmen and customers were invited to partake.

                    The bad part was the Monday Morning Meetings. They wanted certain cars sold or they would send them to auction. Big bonuses for dumping those dogs. Had to keep space for the new cars coming into stock. A little pep talk and off to work we went.

                      Saturday morning are the meetings from 8-9. Its like the managers and gm all play good cop bad cop. Whenever they praise us someone else has to interupt to bring us down. The meeting is predictable. Samemeeting every fukking week

                      as for saturday lunches we do every other week of pizza and deli meat

                      banks bring us in food every few months too randomly

                        Tf? When inwould get suspended from school my dad didn’t want me smoking weed in the house with my friends so he would make me go to work with him. He hooked his salesman up fat. Would always get some bomb Mexican or Chinese take out. There was a place they would get subs from called Mediterranean Deli, they would also hit up east coast subs. Lots of fast food too but you could get however much you wanted. They would barbecue there sometimes, fook it was awesome.

                          I bought a used car a year ago when no one was buying for 13k and it now worths 19k last I checked.

                              yes 100%. Take advantage of the used market. The values are STARTING TO DROP!!! It has peaked. Don't buy a used car now, but sell your used cars if you can take advantage or have another vehicle to utalize

                              buying new is tough, but you can always custom order or if a dealership has what you want

                              Don't pay more than MSRP and rebates are still around on most vehicles. Don't let dealers tell you there are no rebates. Only 2 vehicles we offer don't have rebates and they never have rebates and never will....jeep wrangler and gladiator, but everyone knows that

                                as for me and sales this month i'm at 26. hit my bonus, but won't hit 30.

                                Yesterday the 1 guy ended up buying out his lease since new lease would $175 more than his current lease

                                my 2 car potential deal is still thinking about it...could still maybe be a deal, but even that is 28 sales and I'm not gonna find 2 more

                                26 is still a good bonus, can't complain
