CFB Week 0 & Week 1 Big 10 games

Look for Minnesota to keep it close, for a half. Ohio State blows them out in the 2nd half. Minnesota is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games against Ohio State and is 7-1 in the first of B/B home games so a wager is not worth it.

Illinois and Nebraska are in two entirely different situations. The Illini just hired Bret Bielema and his 24 years of College Coaching experience. Nebraska HC Scott Frost is on a very hot seat. His S/U record was expected to be the reverse of 12/20, where it sits now. His 4-11 Away and 6-11 as a favorite record is not exactly glowing. Giving a team with a new and successful HC 8 points at home is a dangerous play.

ohio state will crush minny, minny team was ready for last year and michigan smashed them and michigan was a failure, minny is not on the same level, a gift just laying -13.5 it should be 18

Nebraska line was surprising. Seemed way high. I do however like the husker QB. Good passer and runner. Im not looking for much out of Illinois this yr. Huskers on the ML maybe?? New coaches on crap teams dont usually turn it around first year. Minny did surprisingly bad vs powerful big10 teams last yr. Lost Bateman, only gamebreaker. Cant see them grinding over Ohio St D. Maybe OSU on ML too.
Not much there for me, dont like away ML as a rule. When upsets happen, they usually happen on the road. I usually take it slow the first week. This yr will be no different.

I think Fresno St steamrolls UConn. Fresno's entire team is back from last season. UConn is awful. Fresno probably wants to put on a good show for the home fans before their trip to Oregon.

Week 0 is really terrible. The only possible game that may be interesting is the game between the maybe 6-6 Nebraska Cornhuskers who have a Head Coach that is probably on the way out, visiting the underachievers in Champaign Illinois, featuring new HC Bret Bielema who has been around the block before and had success at Wisconsin. The ground attacks should determine the winner of this game. It is really hard to get excited about any other game on the schedule.
