2 issues I have with this contest: 1. Obviously non pros being involved in any sort of capacity. But 2, earliest timestamp as tiebreaker, not just for this contest but any forum contest. Nothing I enjoy more than looking through 3 pages of posts seeing if anyone selected the team I'm selecting with same tiebreaker. It's free contest so not gonna go full out complaint on it, but room for improvement in my eyes.
As an example, let me go to a horse racing track, bet the favorite on every race before everyone else, then when a favorite wins, when I cash my ticket I tell the race track, hey brother, I put my bet in first, anyone else who's trying to cash their ticket followed the same thing I did so their payout should be significantly less.
I'm not saying it's perfect. Possible in the future they could
1. Use a third party software or site, but even easier, would maybe we all have a excel linked in Google drive or something that's open for Spider or anyone to see. We input out daily picks in their by Date/Team/Hits.
2. Possibly more strict on the format like it must be Date, pick, hits, previous picks with date in the thread. Just make it easier on him.
The "tie breaker" is already the hits. Maybe hits without going over? If it was a more serious contest I agree, but you could do join date I guess? (I'm biased though because it's 2007 lol)
Anyone let's not clog down the thread. It's already going, but ideas for next time. Good Luck

Was thinking about potential solutions for future as well, google drive was the one that popped up.
I'm good with tie breaker of being hits, but first post is questionable in my opinion. Right, there's a bias in join date. I assume the tiebreaker is being done for payout ease... if 10 people tie, splitting the payout to 10 people evenly, sending btc to 10 people instead of 1 for relatively small prize amounts would be pain as well. For that I'd say pay everyone at the conclusion of the segment/contest and have minimum payout threshold. If the dollar amounts don't meet the minimum threshold, pay in points/FP points.
So it's well-known, I have the utmost respect of the contributions and the amount of time spent that Spider and LT give to this forum.
