This is probably right. Someone needs to be expelled from the game. Either the ref if he used a slander or others for overreacting.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Thanks America, our idiots in Europe copy everything they see in the US and here we are. Now it has become a competition on who's offended the most.

The referee used the word NEGRU which means BLACK. It doesn't mean "black person" or whatever, it means BLACK. In Romania, they have people with the same surname, it's exactly as if someone would be called John Black.

Micah Richards, a former Manchester City defender said in the "post-match" studio that in no way would he be offended if a referee described him as "the black one", ESPECIALLY when you're the only black one in the group (in this instance, among the Turkish clubs managers).

If anyone is actually offended by this or thinks that the 4th referee did anything wrong then they should seriously consider seeking professional help because this thing has been blown out of proportion for YEARS now. And all these keyboard warriors on social media like, retweet and share these posts because they think that they're being these huge fighters for racial justice by actually doing literally NOTHING to address REAL racism. It's like the #MeToo idiots who say that everything is "harrasment" and because of that, women who are actually victims of harrasment aren't being taken seriously anymore.

Sorry for the long rant guys but this is absolutely disgusting. These leftist nutjobs are the biggest racists ever because that's all they see: a persons skincolour.

Still racist imo. The point isnt if he said N, but the first adjective that came to mind was "black". I didnt watch, but if it was directed at Demba Ba, theres many other ways to identify him.. Could have said "ba" "demba" "the forward" "his squad number" etc etc. And hes a professional being paid good money to officiate a highest level football match.

Imagine you are at school and the teacher says "the black one did it" without recognising your name, or if you are at work and a manager says "sorry can the black guy get the coffee please"..

Yes they are black, and that is one way to describe someone and it isnt the end of the world, but you have to question why he didnt chose the other ways to describe him. Other ways that are always used to describe "white" people

Perhaps. But its much more likely the black guy in the middle of whites, is being called the black... As opposed to the white guy in the middle of blacks being called white guy.

The referee is guilty only for not thinking. For sure UEFA training had some kind of advice for the referees, what to say or not in these situations.

He was also unlucky because the word sounds similar to certain racial slurs. If it would have sounded like "blabla" no one would have noticed it right there, maybe only later, and the poor guy would have had a chance to explain himself- now, considering the huge & bad publicity, he is doomed.
