How many people here have said that it’s okay that Covid kills the elderly because they’ve already lived their life and it should not slow down everyone else?
Him catching Covid could potentially save a lot of lives as people may now realize that anyone can be infected. But if he recovers quickly that could also make people take more risks. It’d probably take him incapacitated for people to get the fear of God in hem. There’s no point in trying this rationalization. They only look at deaths. They need to walk outside and see dead bodies laying around to understand. Hard to understand that although less of an issue for younger or healthy people the disease itself is more contagious then other diseases and that was the reason for the fear. Most white people dont know many people who have had Covid let alone know someone who has died from it. White people seem to recover a lot easier than people of color. Talk to most black people and they all know multiple people who have died from this. It has hit that community very hard. Talk to Hispanics and many of them also have been impacted. Which makes me think this was created in a lab to target certain DNA or blood types. Who knows if they adjust to really hit white America next?Comment -

Greaser... this is a global pandemic that is easily spread and not only kills but has long term health implications. The only way to control a pandemic is to Quarantine everyone. Unfortunately we never did that which means we have delayed the inevitable. We should have nipped this shit in the bud very early but too many dumb asses, especially the president couldn’t make the tough choice of quarantine everyone for 2 weeks. So instead of creating a US bubble like sports team have done, where they have had ZERO cases, we have been half assing this thing which means months and months of dealing with this shit. a guy that has the endurance to fly to 5-15 states per week and still work 16 hr days is not in super bad health.
I do a 5 hr drive or a 2 hr flight and I'm wiped out for 36-48 hrs, or give one 30-45 min presentation or speech and i'm done for the day.
