Are you saying that 5Dimes is going to screw everyone? IF not, then what's the big deal?? The bets will get cancelled, people will withdraw their money and that's that. I had plenty of money in my account anyway. I wasn't sweating on having a few hundred tied up. It made no difference to me. I bought $500 worth of shares at approximately +121 and now they are worth -120. So that sucks for me, that I will lose a small profit but it's not a big deal. I would bet futures again in a heartbeat. Anytime you bet futures or bet on nearly anything you have to assume that there could always be a black swan from now until game time. If you are REALLY good you can bet opening lines and take advantage of how weak they can often be. You could bet on the Super Bowl the minute the lines came out and maybe you'll get a great price and then the day before the game the star QB injures himself and will be out. There's always the chance. This is called a gamble.
I don't know what your point of this thread even is. I'm a guy that likes to bet futures because they are often so terribly priced. Meaning, they are easy to beat. I am willing to take that risk because I have learned over time that my track record is very good at betting futures. I am simply grabbing what I consider to be a good price very early. Of course I am aware.... like I said that their could always be a black swan.
Now after this black swan has occurred your entire point of the thread seems to be that I'm somehow a fraud because I bet futures? Is that your angle here?
I can understand how a guy like you that has absolutely ZERO idea on how to price anything accurately, especially several months in advance. For a guy like you, that knows NOTHING of how to price something accurately. For guys like YOU there is NO benefit in betting futures. But for others that DO know how to price things accurately ahead of time.... Betting futures can be very profitable. Even if a black swan occurs... it doesn't mean that you should never bet them again. The bets will be canceled and I will get my money back... Rudy, let me explain the difference between our two styles of betting and if anything is wrong please correct me. You're the type of guy that will start a thread about a bet you like, and you'll call it something about RUDY'S BIG TIME PLAY. And then you talk yourself into how great this bet is and you hope all of your buddies will cheer you on. And you talk yourself into believing what a huge favor you are doing for SBR. You can't figure out for the life of you why SBR doesn't bow down to your many wishes of all the things you are unhappy about at SBR. If there was a vote for the biggest Karen on SBR you would win by a landslide.
I've followed your Big Time Threads. I've read them. I don't know how anyone can be fooled into thinking that ANY of your predictions are anything but guess work.
What type of guy am I? I'm the type of guy that looks for VALUE. I don't give a shit about anything else when it comes to Sportsbetting. If a bet gets cancelled, it get's cancelled. It's not the end of the world.Comment -

Do you have some weird superstition about bets getting canceled or something or something weird about the term NO ACTION? Haven't you ever had a bet canceled before? It's not the end of the world. I've had lots of bets cancelled since Covid-19. It's not a big deal to me. I don't put all my eggs in one basket and then start a thread about it called "My BigTime Play". You may as well call those plays "A Shot in the Dark". Ozzy would approve. I'm not sure why you're trying to make yourself look like such a hero here. I find it amusing.
