Sugarfish is my fave. I'm addicted to the place
katsunori is run by the same group but only does handrolls and is fantastic

urasaw is good sushi but very pricey

blue plate oysterrete, gjelina and tar and roses are all very good

Like Jake said, Dan Tana's is the call. Small, may have to grease the maitre d'. Good food, great atmosphere. Stop by Craig's for a late night drink, great people watching.

Pampas Brazilian Grill in Hollywood at the Grove center is always good grub if you are a meat and potatoes kinda man.. Self serve Brazilian buffet style. The meats are always off the hook there.. I eat here once a month on average when I can get down there and avoid the traffic coming from the beach..

they are ok, probaby 100 places in milwaukee/chicago would have hot dogs just as good, or even just a central park hot dog cart

vanguard here is better, you can get drinks, plenty of room to eat inside, no lines, tons of different meat choices, etc
