Sitting on 3.5 btc , 30 ethereum and maybe 5k total of all other combined...still beating myself up over trading 2.4 btc for a penny crypto a year or 2 ago which is now only worth 2.4k ...that said, I still feel fortunate to be in the game and holding a decent amount of crypto.

It's a little pricey, now but everyone should try to get at least 1 Bitcoin. There were some better prices in the past no doubt...

After years of crypto, I don't listen to what anyone else thinks is going to happen. I go with my gut now.

Anyone that claims or pretends to know what is going to happen is no better than Brandon Lang or some other POS sports tout.

I hear ya. I kinda feel that way now. Listening to this guy was a good pick-me-up for me when there were some dark times in 2018-2019. He preached, hodl on, keep the faith, it'll get there.... just what I needed to hear, ya know?

For those that buy and sell on Gemini. Do you get % back from trading fees? How does this work?

So instead of listening to someone else's guess you're going to follow your own guess?

                  The recipe is simple:

                  1. Buy Bitcoin
                  2. Hodl
                  3. Lambo

j/k It's not that tough. Hard to go wrong with Bitcoin. Speculation into alts comes with more volatile risks....

I had a friend who sold bitcoin at $600 when he bought it at $700. He was mad that he lost $100 and didnt want to risk any more.

Similar story here Jake. About 3.5 in BTC although that fluctuates depending on how much I have in the books. I own some alts but 90% of my holdings are BTC. I bought an alt called Factom about 3 years ago when it was at $40. It's now at .95 cents
No complaints though. Crypto has been very generous to me.

I was in on Factom a few years ago as well

All in all lost way more than i profited trading out of bitcoin and into anything else.

Made some big mistakes along the way but as you said, pretty happy where I'm sitting after all is said and done.

Is this the best way to store for sure, like ledger or trezor? It sure seems that way but wonder what the general consensus is to be sure?

Yep, I'd say so. The old saying is "not your keys, not your bitcoin". That means don't store it on exchanges - have your own personal wallet(s). Ledger and Trezor take it step further by making your private keys hard to access - just use the provided public keys for receiving.

I have both but there are wallets out there now that offer interest paid in the same just for hodling with them. 6.5% for bitcoin, 5.5% for Eth, 12% for stablecoins..... So damn tempting. I have a lot - not all - of my crypto out there drawing interest....

I once bought a $1000 worth of stock at 50 cents. when it opened, it did at $1.20 and I sold it 3 years later at $4.60. Nice right?

6 weeks later, Bell Canada bought them out and the stock went to $96 a share. Infowave. Few months later it was worth 12 cents.

Another similar report over here https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...ce-2-days.html

Network does not appear to be overly congested. Any experts here have any info that might help explain what's up for these two?

Network does not appear to be overly congested. Any experts here have any info that might help explain what's up for these two?
optional i think it has something to do with BRD wallet I got a 1 BTC payout on Sunday after requesting 34 minutes earlier.

then went to send .056 btc and its still in limbo. I def dont know much about how the network works.

I've tried using bitaccelerate yesterday and Wednesday but it doesn't do anything.

That would be Crypto.com. For Bitcoin their Crypto Earn program give you three choices: 1) Flexible - Earn 2% and withdraw at any time, 2) 1 month term (locked up) pays 4.5% and 3) 3 month term (locked up) pays 6.5%. They pay out weekly. After the terms are completed, the principle goes back to your wallet where it joins the interest you have accumulated. Crypto.com is really centered around the 5 different tiers of their ¢redit ¢ard. They have a free card (blue) but buy and stake their coin (CRO) and you get added benefits with each tier. The more CRO you buy and stake the better the perks. For example, stake 25K CRO (about $1650 at present) for the middle/green card and you'll get 3% kick back (paid in CRO) on every purchase. Card is prepaid debit so you have to "load" it before spending.

Get up to 8% back on spending paid in crypto. No monthly, annual, or ATM withdrawal fees.

If interested, I would suggest researching Youtube for more information about Crypto.com. They originally started with the MCO coin but have switched it to CRO coin.

Yes, it would. Crypto.com is, of course, not FDIC but they do have some protection. I don't recall exactly the particulars but they came out with a statement a while back that assured many that they have some backing in the event of a hack or whatever. There's always a risk but that goes with the territory. Their card is backed by V*SA.
