NBA Total line for Dallas Mavericks
2 days ago the Dallas Mavericks played against the Portland Trailblazers - and the line was very shady - a total line of 247.5 (ended with 240 pts in total)...

Tonight Dallas is playing against the Denver Nuggets - the total line drops to 215.5

Yes, I've noticed the Denver Muppets haven't scored more than 215 pts since the preseason but if Dallas was part of a 240+ total team - wouldn't you regard a total of 215.5 as a LOW total by any means whatsoever?!?!

They are playing in Denver, the general assumption is that the altitude and less oxygen make for tired legs later in the game and shots coming up short

Isn't that just for road teams on a b2b? Denver is used to the altitude

Denver second leg of back to back, played in Sacramento last night. I guess the assumption is they'll be looking for a slow game too.

I don't see it going slow... it looks like easy OVER to me, but I may be wrong - am I the only one seeing it like this?

Denvers 3 games have all been 215, 208, under200. Think the line is correct. If your looking at dallas scores, you need to look at opponents scores. That being said, dont take my info for a total decision...it might very well go over.

Yeah more often than not it is. I'm assuming it's on Dallas side of the ball with their 2 best scorers/playmakers being taller and lankier than the norm at their respective positions thus requiring more energy/oxygen to approach their full efficiency/potential.

Carlisle likes to stagger them with the first and second units. They've got young role players that can score at times but everything is facilitated through Luka and only KP can get his own shot at will

247 would be easily the highest total of all time.

It does look low but Denver plays slower since they have jokic.

Yes, definitely a mistake. I saw 247 as a live total but not before the game. Everyone would have hammered the under.

opened 218.5 never moved past 220 . 247 pts would be a straight gift.

Mavs poor team defense but good rim protection. Denver not as good a shooting team as Portland. I think Mavs match up reasonably well here. Altitude can be a factor late too.

Dwight Powell is questionable. If he plays, then Max Kleber goes to the bench and overall a boost for their defense.

                                  I lean towards under
