Burrow had a chance to eclipse that mark vs ATL last year. Just that ATL wasn't close enuf in the 4th qtr.

If it doesn't go down when a team scores 70 points, it's never going down.

Looks pretty safe. QBs mostly always blowing out a team when they are passing for 400+. They will pull the QB early in the 4th or just hand it off.

    You're a Dolphins fan?

Count how many picks bypassed Achane. Achane is a flyer similar to Hill.

I said this about the Dolphins. It's really about staying healthy. B/c the talent is a given.

Prob so Horse but to not have one qb do it since 1951 with all the rules changed geared to offense and protecting Qbs is astounding..

This is the first time I've seen this thread and I'll bet you any amount of points you want that it won't go down next year. Any QB with 450-500 yards is probably going to be way ahead and in run the clock mode, it could go down but it's highly unlikely.

Looks like we just about made it through another season without it being broken.Still
baffles my mind that no one in over 70
years with the 100 of great qbs better than that old fart have never done it.

very few qb's can throw that many yards right now top of my head Rodgers and Mahoomes

and it has to a be a close game too not a blow out 41- 3 qb goes out 2nd half and the rest of back ups come in

you have soo many poor teams in nfl today that would have trouble with top ranked college teams

ready set go Jaguars- Texans- WASH- Lions ............ weak lame defenses that cannot cover spreads even at home

Problem now is if a QB throws for 400 yards in a half they are up be 3 TD's so they run the ball 2nd half. Hard to break a record when you don't throw for 30 minutes.

I can't believe that this record hasn't already been broken. We have had quite a few dudes over the years toss 500, and nowadays you would think the stars would be in alignment more times for a chance to break than ever.
All we really need is a dude who starts hot but in the first quarter the team can't score touchdowns. Sort of like yesterday when Rottenburger couldn't get a touchdown after rolling down the field very quickly. Then since team A can't score, team B would inversely have a real easy time of scoring touchdowns. Something like a pick 6 or a scope and score defensive stand. Or maybe they get a couple of cheapy touchdowns in some weird way it doesn't matter as long as the scores come fast.

If that scenario happens, and team A finds themselves down say 21-3, 21-10 or something like that after 1 quarter. I can see the throwing of 600 plus yards.

Its gonna happen eventually. As a matter of betting I say that happens before we have another running back running for over 2000 yards.

    How good is Mahomes?

Will Chefs win 90% of their next 50 games? They could.
