If I had to play this game I would take the Cards but it’s closer to a coin flip than a sure thing.

There are a couple of different ways to play this series.

You might consider a three game chase on the Cards.

I don’t like chasing but this is a huge series and I see them winning at least 1 game and they’ll probably win 2.

I wouldn’t put all your eggs in a basket for this 1 game.

Hudson can be wild. Likewise, the Cardinals hitting is very sporadic. They can strike out 15 times one game against a no name pitcher and then go light up a Castillo the next game. That’s why I don’t like totals.

The only obvious angle for tonight is that the Brewers pen might be fatigued after giving up like 30 runs to the Nats the last two days.

they got the talent they just haven't had the expected production. thats what im saying though. I see a team that has played no where near its potential yet is sitting in first place. they can't possibly be any worse. its only up from here. but they have to realize that & capitalize. thats where good managing comes in. we'll see what Shildt is really about.
