just goes to show how rigged the system is I talked about this a lot last year in how ucf finished undefeated in 2017 and finished the year ranked 6th but the following preseason with practically the same team they were ranked like 24th or something which was weird since they finished ranked 6th because ncaa knew even if they finished undefeated they were starting too low to be able to be in contention for playoffs now coming off a 12-1 season and they dont have near a strong team coming back they have them preseason 11th but knowing they arnt as strong and will lose some games before end of season.

so many teams on that list almost certain to fall alot......... basically any team that vastly outperformed its history last year.

kentucky, fresno, army, wv (lost program qb) will almost certainly fall precipitously... utah state too

The AP poll is a homers poll. Eastern writers favor eastern teams. Southern writers favor Southern teams, etc... It is meaningless. Just bulletin board material for some coaches. Paying attention Harbaugh???
