#9Hman wanted to commend you for your work in that meaningless thread you were dealing with last night. You handled it like a pro. With all the contest SBR has running the only excuse not to turn PRO is that you just cannot. It appears that factor of the forum population gives you the most problems. SadComment -

#12Back in the majorwager days there was much of trying to help each other where as now you just have a bunch of useless threads started by idiots. Look at the good threads with useful info the views are there but not too much interactionComment -

We corrected this problem about a year ago or so.
You are right it's been a concern again and we will clean it up as I'm sure the majority of level headed members here agree we don't want to go into football season and endure the nonsense the entire season.Comment -

#16Mods letting to many non gambling threads stay in PT and not properly disposing of in Saloon. Many more posters with thin skin. Too many guys thinking they are more important to the community than they are.....worried about thread views when the majority post mobile anyway and can't even see that.Comment -

#17The spam isn't a permanent problem.
Here's what is going on....
Normally new members are registered manually.
Meaning they get screened and then approved, declined, or begin on post review if there are any warning signs such as a screen name or email steered towards promoting something, or even multiple accounts.
But lately, some work is being done on the site, which in turn has put all new accounts through automatically, meaning the spam gets by.
Things will soon be back to normal with manual registrations or actually could already be.Comment -

#19You guys are out of your mind when it comes to the good ole days of posters helping everyone make money
1. most of the older posters are broke these days and dont even gamble much any more
2. forum bookies were all over the place, including here. there is no help going on when you are betting against someone
3. there were more trolls with less picks 5-7 years ago than there are today percentage wise
The only problem with today is allowing too many political threads in players talk otherwise this is the best its ever been.Comment -

#26The biggest difference is the average age of the poster. Too many young posters who think they know what they are talking about but in reality, have no clue. There is also a lot more hatred today than in 2000. Racial differences are huge, thanks to our politicians. That leads to other differences and makes mountains out of mow hills. There are also way too many phonies today. Guys who do not wager, or wager so little that their wagers are insignificant. These guys ruin it for the guys who do wager (those of you that are left) and are looking for solid information and insights into the games. It becomes very difficult to weed out the garbage posted on many of the sites. S**t can the political crap in here and stick to sports. Get rid of the political page all together. Other sites that have done this are running a lot smoother than when they had those sites.Comment -

#28Posters are little girls in comparison to 2 decades ago.
2 decades ago board was rocking with sports book representatives and they tossed around a lot of free stuff.
Moderators much tougher 2 decades ago. Had to be.
There is 3 that stand out.Comment -
