SBR Poker In Game Thread

Had over 12,000 chips, had about 2,000 invested in a flop that was 2-8-10, two hearts on the board. I bet and am reraised by a LAG player, he goes all in for 3000 more, I make the call with J10 and has a pair of 2's with a flushdraw, of course he hits.

That took me to around 6000. From there, I blew up in a hand where the same player raised my blind again, I reraised for 1500, he reraised again, I shoved and he called with AK to my A10. Again, I was just not respecting his style of play, unfortunately he happened to have a hand there, but given how he'd open with hands like Ace Deuce I did not think I would be behind, even with a mediocre hand like A10.

So, from 12,000 chips I make one mistake after losing a hand that I was ahead in and had made the right call in, and it cost me the tournament.

Good job, but you really did play poorly the entire time I was at that table, and you got lucky to hit your flush when I had you beaten on the flop.

I was on the nut flush draw with a pair on that first hand Lou. You were waaaaaay overagressive.

On the second hand I knew I had you because of position. You thought I was bullying.

You were playing poorly from what I had observed, and likely will not advance to the final table. Unfortunately, it was your night as you sucked out to drain 40% of my chips and then happened to have a hand after that.

You saw the way I was playing, I was simply in another level tonight, it's unfortunate that I was sucked out on leading up to what proved to be the deciding hand, and regardless of Sox's progression from here the wrap-up article tomorrow will be devoted to the fortuitous hand that saw him advance.

20th. Pocket JJ. One of the guys had AQ, and Q on the turn. I run out of luck when it gets down to the final table. I was getting every hand at the beginning and nothing late in the game.
