Question for soccer guys

Ok so I been trying to learn soccer cause I think the world tourneys are very exciting. Still don’t have much interest in the seemingly 100s of leagues around the world but when country’s play I do like it and honestly think after nhl playoffs it the most exciting event to watch, I can actually watch from start to finish which nhl playoffs the only other thing that true about anymore!! (No stoppages/commercials definitely helps!).

Anyways I’m still not sure what certain bets mean?!?!?!!? For instance USA women ml is few cents different than USA -1/2, what is the difference? Isn’t it the same bet? A draw after 90 loses on ml so wouldn’t that be same as the -1/2??

While we at it I’d love a explanation for -1/4 or -3/4 as well! I know it has something to do with you playing 2 numbers correct? Like 2 1/4 over would be if they score 2 you get some the bet back? How much?? And so if it a draw does -1/4 give you some back?

it is the same bet and always laughable why the lines will be different on the money line and -.5 bet the -1/4 and -3/4 are asian lines basically u are having 2 bets instead of 1, over 2 1/4 would be 1 bet on over 2 and 1 bet on over 2.5 over 2 3/4 would be one bet on over 2.5 one on over 3

I thought I understood the 1/4 -3/4 w totals but wasn’t quite sure on the spread as again that makes little sense since ml and -.5 is same bet!! It like they try to make it confusing on purpose!! Lol

It is more about which one people bet that makes it move vs. the other. Most all these books use 3rd party for live so a lot of it is auto updated. Why they even offer the 2 to begin with is beyond me.

Perfect example of the live software being strange as hell is NBA live. I don't bet much NBA but I love to follow live odds across all sports and you will see sometimes a team -1 with more juice than the ML. Explain that...LOL

No difference between the 3 way line and handicap -0.5 (unless you're betting draw obviously). Frequently see prices differ by a little so just always bet the better line.

pk is same as handicap +0 also same as dnb (draw no bet).

Everything is settled after 90 min unless it's a to advance bet.

the quarter ball stuff is just less complicated than it looks.

it's basically 2 bets. so for example if you have -1/4, half your stake is on +0 and half your stake is on -1/2. If result is a draw, then the bet on +0 pushes and the bet on -1/2 loses so net effect is you lose half of your bet.

If betting -3/4, then winning by 1 is where the half stake comes into play but in this case, you win half and push the other half. (since half of your bet is on -0.5 and the other half on -1)

Some places actually show the bet like this to make it clearer.

So they'll show -1/4 as USA +0, -0.5

-3/4 as USA -0.5, -1

+0.25 as USA +0, +0.5

etc.

Hit Columbia at nice plus odds early on, cashed w Jamaica as nice dogs other day. Have parlayed bunch of favs w some success. Tailed you on a few!! Then of course always bet the USA broads!!! So far I’ve won more than lost!!!
