"Ahead of the draft, New Orleans dealt that No. 4 pick, forward Solomon Hill, the No. 57 pick and a future second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 8, 17 and 35 picks, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski."

                Why would they trade DOWN???

If anything, they should have offered a package of that 4th pick, Lonzo Ball, and those 3 future 1st round picks they acquired from LA, to Memphis, for the 2nd overall and taken Morant.

Hawks trade No. 8, No. 17, and No. 35 picks to Pelicans for No. 4, No. 57, a future second-round pick, and Solomon Hill

Wojnarowski reports that the Hawks are high on Virginia's DeAndre Hunter, and this move shows just how motivated they are to get them on their roster to pair with their young nucleus of talent. Since acquiring the No. 4 pick from the Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade, the Pelicans have been determined to stockpile assets and get the pick off their hands.

Do you think if New Orleans would have offered Memphis the #4 pick, Lonzo Ball, and 1,2,or all 3 of those future first rounders from LA, for the #2, that the Griz would have taken it?

They had a perfect opportunity to secure their future with Zion and Morant and didn't even attempt to seize it.
