Eagles' Crypto Coin Mission - Plays inside
I would like to get some long term crypto investments. 0.25 BTC, 1 ETH and a maybe a couple coins of a smaller alt. Load them up on a paper wallet, put them away in vault back at parent's place, leaving them untouched for awhile.

Purchased 0.09 BTC, lets see if I can make a solid run up to 0.3 BTC or a bit more. If not, that's okay too. Bets will likely be large so risk of ruin is high.

Chicago White Sox +132 ML Risk 0.034 BTC ($310)
Texas Rangers +104 ML Risk 0.036 BTC ($330)

Very streaky. Historically done well in April/May, done horrible AFTER all-star break. I do look at analytics though so I'm not just throwing. I would not tail though, the only sport I know I am definitely +EV in is Hockey.

If you want to tail someone, go here: https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...-2019-mlb.html

Guy has done well last several years, I have followed him in the past.

Thank you all for the good luck and hope we all win tonight.

Continue with the trend, bitcoin has followed the trend for awhile now. It is in a confirmed bull run currently, the pullback to $8000 and then continued back up, shows strong support. I am long bitcoin right now (but don't have any long term investments, hence why I am trying to acquire 0.3 BTC to throw aside, not sell, for a long time).

As for what bitcoin will be at the end of the year, no idea. Definitely long though right now.

The reason I do not have any long term investments in bitcoin is my perceived cap on the currency. Bitcoin was meant to be a way to transact, like a substitute for cash/credit, however in recent year or two it has seemingly become more of a store of value, like gold. With high transaction fees, I question its long term growth potential. For example, when bitcoin was at 15-18k a year or so ago, it cost $50 in miner fees to send a transaction priority. That is not feasible for adoption. Currently, expedited fee is $3 worth of bitcoin.

Bitcoin cash sought to lower fees and allow more txs per block, however alts including bitcoin cash have not rebounded as strongly as bitcoin. Bitcoin cash continues in a downward, bear trend, and ETH has only doubled whereas bitcoin has nearly tripled since bottoming at $3500.

I feel like there is a greater chance of going to 1/3 current value ($3000) than there is of bitcoin 3x in value ($27000). But I am also careful with investment risk surprisingly, my friend stayed in and made $250k USD in bitcoin. I got in at $100/bitcoin, got out at $500/btc, he stayed in.
